In preparation for Scoutcamp this summer, I need to know what scouts are committed to attending.  Scoutcamp  will be July 20-25, 2015 at Camp Meriwether.  We typically leave very early Monday morning and return sometime Saturday afternoon.  To secure your scout a position and attendance at Scoutcamp, I need you all to make a down payment of$75 per scout by Feb. 1st, 2015.  Keep in mind this is a down payment and the out of pocket cost per scout will be determined at a later date factoring in our recent fundraiser and other costs involved with Scoutcamp.  Please fill out a tithing slip and mark the "other" and designate it for "Scoutcamp".  Let me know when you have done this payment so I can make sure we have your scout on the roster and the correct number of reservations.  Thank you.

#1              This Wednesday (1/14/15), we are meeting at the church @ 7 PM and will continue working on the Family Life merit badge.  Bring your chore charts and your family project plans and/or details.

#2                    The Winter Lodge overnighter was a big hit for the scouts.  Thanks to all of the dads and leaders that helped transport the scouts to and from the lodge and to the parents for supporting their scouts overnighters.  The scouts said they had a great time and loved the tubing, the food and the time spent together.

Information regarding Winter Lodge - January 9th-10th, 2015

The Winter Lodge overnighter is Friday Jan. 9th and returningSaturday Jan. 10th, 2015.  We will be leaving about 4 PM on Friday and returning sometime around 4 PM on Saturday.  This is always a highlight for the scouts every year!

 

Bro. Belliston, let me know if there are any other Teachers that would like to join us and any dads/leaders from the Teacher's Quorum.

 

The cost is $15/person.  The boys are covered by the budget.   The dads going were asked to pay for themselves.  The dads going can fill out a tithing slip and designate the purpose in the "other" category on the tithing slip.
